Blogging is becoming very famous from past few years. In this growing tech world, creating a blog is not hard.

You can create a blog using free CMS platform like wordpress or blogger. But after creating a blog every blogger faces a lot of problems in running his/her blog. It’s very common problem to get traffic to your newly launched blog.

Here are Some Simple Steps for New Bloggers on “How to Get Traffic to Your New Blog”-

1. 1. Do Keyword Research- Keywords are the base of any blog or website. Find out some good keywords according to your target audience using Google Keyword Planner or other keyword researching tools. So that you can create some quality content by using these targeted keywords. Try to find long-tail keywords to rank easily rank on first page. Create a keyword research file for your next 20–30 blog posts, so you haven’t worry about keyword research after writing one post.
2. 2. Write Some Quality Posts- Like keywords Content is also the base of a blog/website. Just suppose you have “Toy Selling Store” but you don’t have a number of toys to sell. Who likes to visit an empty store? Your blog is your store and your content is your selling stuff. So add some quality blog post to attract visitors.
3. 3. Consistency is the key to traffic- Just suppose you haven’t written any blog post since one month. Why would anyone visit a blog which hasn't updated since one month? Keep consistency in writing blog post in starting phase of your blog. At least write two blog posts per week. Here’s a simple example- when i wrote my first answer on Quora there is 0 answer views. I started writing answers one by one and now I have more than 6k answer views. 
4. 4. Use Attractive Headlines- Your post headline is what a visitor sees first and decide to click on. As you know first impression matters a lot. Your headline must be effective and attractive. From the SEO point view, Headlines are also important to rank. Use Keywords in main headings and subheadings.
5. 5. Use Social Media- You can find everyone on social media so use it to work for you. Your potential audience is also active on these social networking sites share your blog posts and try to connect with more and more people. Be humble with everyone. Share your content on those places where your targeted audience visits. Social sharing also helps you to rank in Google. Create list of targeted groups, followers and interact with them regularly. “Don’t underestimate the power of social media.”
6. 6. Try Blog Commenting- It’s not enough to drive traffic just by writing blogs. Blog commenting is one of the important strategy which most new bloggers don’t use or don’t do it in a right and natural way. Use blog commenting to make human bonds with your fellow bloggers. Find blogs related to your niche and share your views through comments and appreciate their efforts. Use your blog link while commenting.
7. 7. Follow The Niche Trends- Stay updated with your industry news & trends. People love to know and read about latest trends. Cover every latest trend in your blog post so that you can gain traffic for latest topics.
8. 8. Stay active with QA- Participate in Question Answer sites. Google can’t answer anything that’s people search their answers on QA sites like Quora, Answers. com, Yahoo answers and many others. It’s good opportunity for you to help your targeted audience by solving their problems with your high quality answers.
9. 9. Be a Guest Blogger- Every blog has different audience so it’s good for you to get introduced to them. Connect with your fellow bloggers and ask them to write a guest post for them.
10. 10. Repeat- If you don’t get enough exposure from all these techniques don’t be sad. Have patience and starting repeating all these once. Getting huge traffic is not a one day, one week or one month work. Keep consistency in your work and you’ll get good results.
